It is, and will continue to be, our mission to empower girls and women of color to Love the skin they’re in.
One day 4 year old Ava told her mom that she didn’t like her face any more and wanted to have a different face…a white face. It became that mom’s mission to teach her daughter how to Love the skin she was in and from there…Operation Brown Girl was born.
Focusing on progress over perfection, we provide space for a community of women to come together in the practice of growth, Love, listening, accountability, leadership, self-care, self-reflection, and so much more. With the emphasis on community, because if it takes a village to raise a child, the village has to stay intact. We are the village.
